Burradoo Drover is by Burradoo Muster out of Wranglar Lilly. He represents the type of breeding we are trying to accomplish on the Burradoo Ranch. Ian Gilcrist indicated that Lilly was probably his best dog to date and Janice views Muster in the same light.

Both dogs are proven in the stock department and exhibit complimentary strengths when worked together, yet have the ability to work stock well on an individual basis. Drover’s litter mates were distributed to working stock people and have all matured into handy ranch dogs dealing primarily with cattle.

Drover has a great personality and exhibits a real knack for helping us dog break replacement heifers. Drover has the power to move these young cattle and doesn’t hesitate to use his teeth, when necessary, on cattle reluctant to move or who have a propensity to challenge a dog.

Drover has sired two impressive litters. The first with Burradoo B.J. (Becker x Coke) produced Burradoo Broken Box Prim, which we have incorporated into our breeding program. The second with Burradoo Gilly produced Burradoo Ned Kelly, who we kept on the ranch.
